BRADENTON -- Bradenton police say a woman's estranged husband burst into her home Saturday night, demanded to see her new boyfriend and fled after breaking a liquor bottle inside the home.
Police responded about 9 p.m. to an apartment in the 4850 block of 51st Street West to a report of a burglary to occupied dwelling.
According to a police report, the estranged husband banged on the apartment door, and once the door was cracked, he pushed the door wide open and walked in, demanding to see her new boyfriend.
Once he realized he was not going meet her new suitor, he grabbed a liquor bottle and slammed it to the ground, eventually leaving after police were called, the report said.
Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies later took the individual into custody.
