Ex-boyfriend, denied entry, breaks through door, police say
BRADENTON -- Bradenton police say a woman's ex-boyfriend, overly eager to discuss their break-up, broke through her door Saturday night after being refused access to a home in the 100 block of 17th Street Northwest.
According to a police report, the woman refused to let him in the home, and the suspect began to bang and kick at the door. He then kicked a hole in the door and crawled through it, the report said.
However, once the suspect realized the victim was on the phone with 911, he fled the scene but was later arrested by Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies.
