20-year-old Manatee man charged after search finds drugs

MANATEE -- A 20-year-old man was arrested at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday after a search warrant executed by the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reportedly turned up a variety of illegal dugs.

A suspect had been under observation for months at a home in the 4000 block of 79th Street West, Bradenton, according to the report.

A search revealed a small amount of heroin, cocaine, and marijuana, several scales with cocaine residue and several boxes of plastic baggies commonly used to package narcotics, according to the report.

Anthony Alacorn was charged with possession of heroin, paraphernalia and marijuana.

Booking information was not immediately available.
