Bradenton man charged with head-butting his mother, 75

MANATEE -- A Bradenton man was charged with head-butting his 75-year-old mother, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

At 4:50 p.m. Tuesday at their home in the 3300 block of 45th Avenue East, 48-year-old Kenneth Anthony Borek and his mother argued so he head-butted her. The victim went to her neighbor's residence and contacted the sheriff's office.

Borek was found in the field behind his residence in the tall vegetation, according to the release, and taken into custody.

No visible injuries were seen on Borek or his mother.
