Bradenton police looking for men who robbed Subway

BRADENTON -- Police are looking for two men who robbed a Subway restaurant Monday night, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

A man entered the Subway at 5016 Manatee Ave. W. in Bradenton at 9:06 p.m. with his hand in his pocket as though he had a weapon, according to the report.

He told the clerk not to hit the alarm button and demanded money from the register before running out of the store, police said. Another man was kneeling outside the door as a lookout and also ran.

Police searched the area using canines but couldn't find either subject. No description of the men was provided.
