Stabbing follows argument in Manatee County

ONECO ­-- A 25-year-old man is recovering after being stabbed Saturday night at an Oneco residence, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report.

The victim was at a friend's residence in the 6100 block Fifth Street East when he got into a verbal argument shortly after 10 p.m. with an acquaintance, the report said. He was then stabbed by one or two other unknown subjects, the report said.

The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life threatening. No arrests have been made, and as the investigation continues.
