Pedestrian injured while crossing 14th Street West in Bradenton dies

BRADENTON -- A pedestrian hit by a vehicle while crossing 14th Street West died Monday night from his injuries, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

Andy Miller, 64, was crossing in the 2300 block of 14th Street West at 6:40 p.m. Sunday in an area without a crosswalk when he was hit by a Honda Odessey van, police said.

Miller was rushed to Blake Medical Center, where he died at 10:44 p.m. Monday.

The driver of the van was not injured and has not been charged in the incident. Police will continue to investigate the crash.
