Sarasota deputies find missing Virginia man, 61

SARASOTA -- The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has found a 61-year-old man who walked away from his relatives' home in the 5000 block of Vinson Way in Sarasota on Wednesday morning.

Rodney Ison wandered off Tuesday, too, but was found later the same night, according to sheriff's office spokeswoman Wendy Rose.

Ison has not been diagnosed with specific mental health issues but his recent behavior is cause for concern, the sheriff's office said.

Ison is visiting from Virginia but lived here in the past, the sheriff's office said.
