2 held on combined $98,000 bond after major Sarasota meth bust
SARASOTA -- The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office arrested two people after discovering significant quantities of methamphetamine during a traffic stop Wednesday.
Patrol deputies stopped Kristina Norris, 32, and Dylan Bobko, 22, both of Nokomis, in the 4000 block of Cattlemen Road.
Norris was immediately arrested on a warrant for selling methamphetamine to undercover detectives in July and Bobko was taken in for questioning.
A search warrant of Norris' vehicle yielded more than 42 grams of methamphetamine, amphetamine salt pills, hydrocodone, hydromorphone, alprazolam and nearly $500 cash.
Detectives charged Norris and Bobko, both of 100 South Sierra St., with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of amphetamine salt, possession of hydrocodone, hydromorphone and alprazolam.
Norris is also charged with sale of methamphetamine and attempted sale of methamphetamine and Bobko with being a principal to attempted sale of methamphetamine.
Norris was held on $70,000 bond and Bobko on $28,000 bond.
