Manatee woman charged with taking $55 at knifepoint

MANATEE -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office reported a female suspect threatened a male friend with a knife at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday while visiting his home and took off with $55.

Hope Easterly was soon arrested in the area by patrol deputies near the 3700 block of 14th Street West in Bradenton where the attack occurred at Plaza Mobile Court.

Easterly was charged with armed robbery although booking information was not immediately available.
