Bradenton police look for witnesses to shooting

BRADENTON -- Bradenton police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in a shooting on Friday.

About 10:15 p.m., a man was standing outside his residence in the 600 block of 22nd Road East, in the East Manatee Trailer Park, when he was shot, according to a report.

Police said the victim is in stable condition but they are not sure if he has been released from the hospital yet.

Lt. James Racky, spokesman for the Bradenton Police Department, said they are looking for any witnesses of the shooting and ask that they step forward.

It is unclear what the motivation was for the shooting. Racky said the investigation is ongoing.
