Bradenton man charged with shoving victim who called him 'white trash'
MANATEE -- A Bradenton man has been charged with shoving a victim over a racial slur, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Jadie H. Hawkins, 33, was arrested at 4:38 a.m. Tuesday at a rooming house in the 900 block of Wilmerling Avenue, according to the report.
The victim had been trying to clean up the yard at the house she, Hawkins and others live in. Deputies said the victim, who is not related nor is in a relationship with Hawkins, began yelling he was "white trash" because he filled the backyard with garbage.
