Man stabbed in Bradenton by drug seeker
BRADENTON -- A man was stabbed in the leg at 9:52 p.m. Friday with a pocket knife by someone, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
The man said the attacker asked him for drugs in the 2100 block of 17th Avenue West, Bradenton, and stabbed him when he said he didn't have any, according to the report.
The victim was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital for treatment of a minor wound.
The suspect was not found during a police search.
The victim told authorities he didn't want to press charges.
