14-year-old boy hit by car in Bradenton
BRADENTON -- A 14-year-old boy was struck by a car while walking in Bradenton Sunday night, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
The juvenile was walking southbound in the 3900 block of 59th Street West at 8:07 p.m. when he was hit by a vehicle also heading south, according to a report.
The child was taken to Blake Medical Center and then flown to Tampa General Hospital for treatment. He is listed in stable condition, police said.
No information on the offending vehicle was provided by police.
