SARASOTA -- A 3-year-old Sarasota girl was transported to All Children's Hospital with critical injuries after a crash at 2:18 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
A 46-year-old Sarasota man driving a Toyota Corolla and a 24-year-old Sarasota man driving a Subaru XV were eastbound on Webber Street, according to the report, in the right lane approaching the intersection with Wells Avenue.
When the Subaru stopped for traffic while waiting to turn left, the Corolla rear-ended the Subaru, according to FHP.
The drivers suffered minor injuries, and the 3-year-old was transported to All Children's Hospital with critical injuries, according to a report.
The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending, FHP troopers reported.
