Husband of Opa-locka police officer gunned down at Miramar home
The husband of an Opa-locka police officer was shot and killed in the driveway of a Miramar home, according to early reports Thursday.
The father of three was shot and killed at a home at 7601 Indigo St. Police identified the man was identified as Darcy Jenkins, 28.
"I don't know what happened," wife Nikeya Jenkins told reporters. "I'm living a nightmare. They just gunned him down like a dog in the street."
His wife told CBS4 that when he got off work at a barbecue restaurant run by his father, he went to sleep at a relative's home where his 7-year-old son lives.
