Boys spotted breaking into unlocked cars in Palmetto neighborhood
MANATEE -- Two boys were spotted in a Palmetto neighborhood breaking into unlocked cars and stealing wallets and other valuables, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The break-ins happened about 1:05 a.m. Tuesday in the 3200 and 2400 blocks of 70th Court East, in the Parkside subdivision, according to a news release.
"They entered at least 10 vehicles that were left unlocked, taking items such as a purse and several wallets," the report states. "It is encourage that residents remove their valuables from their vehicles and remember to lock their doors."
