Gunman robs Dollar General store in Bradenton

BRADENTON -- A gunman Wednesday evening robbed a Dollar General store in Bradenton, according to Bradenton police.

About 8:37 p.m., the robber went into the store at 2923 Manatee Ave. W., brandished a dark-colored handgun and demanded money, according to a report.

The robber fled the scene in a vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured, police said.
