Burglary suspect arrested in Bradenton

MANATEE -- A 24-year-old man was arrested after he burglarized two residences in the Palma Sola neighborhood, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 8:23 p.m Tuesday, a resident reported seeing the suspect, whose name was not released, in his garage that had been left open, according to a news release.

"The suspect fled the area, and also stole a bicycle from the enclosed yard of a different address nearby," the report states.

A K-9 unit tracked the suspect and found him hiding in bushes in the neighborhood.

The break-ins happened in the 600 block of Casabella Drive and the 7600 block of 17th Avenue West..
