Vehicle fire in Bradenton ruled arson

BRADENTON -- An investigation is underway after a vehicle was deliberately set on fire, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

At 2:37 a.m. Wednesday, the vehicle on fire in the 600 block of 11th Avenue East in Bradenton was reported to police, according to a police report.

A fire inspector investigated the blaze and concluded that it was deliberately set, the report states. The registered owner refused to come to the scene.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the arson.
