BRADENTON -- Two dump trucks hauling dirt from the Ware's Creek project spilled part of their load throughout several locations in the city at 11:27 a.m. Saturday, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

The worst location was in the 2300 block of State Road 64 East where the eastbound lane was closed to clear the roadway. Cleanup was done by the Ware's Creek contractor with assistance from Bradenton Fire Department and Bradenton Public Works Department.

The Florida Department of Transportation authorized reopening the roadway once it was cleared of all debris.
