Manatee sheriff: Man uses gun to rob 7-Eleven clerk, customer
MANATEE -- Deputies with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office are looking for a man who used a firearm to rob a 7-Eleven and a customer in the parking lot Tuesday night.
The man, described as about 5-feet and 6-inches tall and 160 pounds with short hair and a dark moustache, entered the 7-Eleven located at 4208 59th St. W., Bradenton, at about 10:40 p.m. He was carrying a revolver, according to a release.
He pointed the gun at the store clerk and said, "Give me all your money or I'll shoot," deputies said. The clerk gave him money from the register.
He then turned to a customer in the store and demanded money from him, but the customer refused.
The suspect left and confronted another customer in the parking lot, according to the report, pointing the gun at him and demanding his wallet. That customer got onto the ground and handed his wallet over.
The man then ran to a white four-door Kia waiting in the 4200 block of 60th Avenue West with two other men in it, deputies said. The car went south on 60th Avenue West.
No one was injured in the incident.
