Woman charged with heroin trafficking in undercover sting in Palmetto
MANATEE -- A woman was charged with trafficking in heroin in Palmetto after she sold drugs to an undercover detective, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Kenyatta Cox, 24, was arrested at 3 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of 10th Street West, Palmetto, according to a release.
"Cox was taken into custody after delivering approximately 11 grams of heroin to an undercover detective in exchange for $1,200," a release states. "Cox was also arrested on two other sale of heroin warrants that she had."
According to the sheriff's office, Cox is currently out on bond for three sale of heroin charges from May.
Cox was charged with trafficking in heroin and the sale of heroin, according to a release. Booking information for Cox was not immediately available.
