Bradenton police seize drugs in Fourth of July weekend traffic stops, cops say
More than 330 grams of marijuana, crack cocaine and dozens of THC vape cartridges were seized during two traffic stops over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
Police arrested Jacobey Mobley, 18, and Donte Couran, 19, in separate traffic stops Thursday and Friday, charging Mobley with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and Couran with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of cocaine with intent to sell, according to the agency.
Police said officers seized 330.9 grams of marijuana, 23.3 grams of crack cocaine, 58 THC cartridges and drug paraphernalia during the two traffic stops.
Jail records show Mobley was released Saturday after posting $2,500 bond. Couran was released Sunday after posting a total bond of $10,000.
