Bradenton police investigate after teenager found dead outside, officials say
The Bradenton Police Department is investigating the Monday night death of a teenager.
Around 10:15 p.m. Monday, police say they received a 911 call and responded to the 700 block of 12th Avenue West, according to police. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found a teenager dead outside the home, the agency said.
The death is being investigated by Bradenton police and the Manatee Homicide Investigation Unit, but officials say the death appears to be an “isolated incident.”
“Out of respect for the family, the BPD will not disclose the juvenile’s age or gender at this time,” the agency said in a social media post.
Further information was not immediately available Tuesday morning.
Bradenton police ask anyone with information on the teenager’s death to contact them at (941) 932-9356 or submit an anonymous tip through Manatee Crime Stoppers at manateecrimestoppers.com.
