Manatee deputies target drunk drivers with DUI patrol. How many did they arrest?
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office conducted a DUI saturation patrol Friday, cracking down on impaired driving in the county.
The agency’s Traffic Unit made seven DUI arrests and six misdemeanor arrests during the patrol, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
Deputies also distributed one criminal traffic citation, 54 noncriminal citations and 60 warnings to drivers, the release said.
The next county DUI saturation patrol is planned for Friday, April 10, the sheriff’s office said.
