Bradenton police investigating deadly overnight shooting at park on the Riverwalk 

Bradenton police are investigating a deadly overnight shooting at Rossi Park on the Bradenton Riverwalk.

A 911 caller reported gunfire at the park, 444 Third Ave. W., Bradenton, at 4:07 a.m. Sunday, the Bradenton Police Department said in a news release.

When officers got to the park, they found three people with gunshot wounds, the agency said.

Emergency responders took the shooting victims to area hospitals, where one of them died. The other two victims are still in medical care on Sunday, the agency said.

Police say the injuries happened when two or more people fired guns at each other. Officers have arrested two people, the agency said.

Police say their investigation is ongoing, and detectives with Manatee County’s homicide unit are interviewing several witnesses. No other information was provided.
