‘Scooter-riding porch pirate’ caught on camera. He’s under arrest, Bradenton police say

A Palmetto man was arrested Thursday after he was caught twice on video stealing Amazon packages from a home, police said.

Skyler Davis, 18, faces three counts of burglary, the Bradenton Police Department said.

In a doorbell camera video posted to social media, Bradenton police labeled Davis a “scooter-riding porch pirate.” The video shows a man riding a scooter to the front porch and tucking a package under his hoodie.

Police say Davis wore the same University of South Florida hoodie and a motorcycle helmet in both cases.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office website, Davis is being held without bond at the Manatee County Jail.
