Deputies investigating apparent homicide at Bradenton mobile home park

A homicide investigation is underway after a 21-year-old woman died of serious wounds she suffered at a mobile home park in Bradenton on Thursday afternoon, according to Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office did not immediately disclose the nature of the woman’s wounds, citing “investigative reasons.”

Law enforcement arrived at the Sunset Village Mobile Home Park, located at 3715 14th St. W., Bradenton, around 12:40 p.m. Thursday in response to a call about an unresponsive female. The woman had serious injuries and died a short time after deputies arrived.

The sheriff’s office has identified a person of interest in the case and is following several leads, according to a press release.
