Have you seen one of these Manatee fugitives? A reward of up to $3,000 could be yours

The weekly list of featured fugitives has been updated by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. This week’s changes include the arrest of one suspect and the addition of four new ones.

Deputies say James Braun, 42, was arrested Monday on a violation of probation charge. He is being held at the Manatee County Jail. Bond information was not immediately available.

According to a release, Dequante Hawkins, 24, is wanted for grand theft auto, domestic battery and violation of supervised release. Rachael Jumper, 22, is wanted for violation of probation and possession of heroin.

The sheriff’s office says Shamar Johnson, 21, is wanted for sale of fentanyl. Robert Heaton, 38, is wanted for violation of probation, grand theft, possession of a controlled substance and driving with a permanently revoked license.

Authorities are still searching for two other suspects:

  • Lonzo Tucker, 35, is wanted for violation of probation and sale or delivery of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a housing facility.
  • Billy Wayne Quarles, 50, is wanted on a strong-arm robbery charge.

Anyone with information about these fugitives can call the toll-free anonymous tip line at (866) 634-8477 (TIPS) or submit an e-TIP online at www.ManateeCrimeStoppers.com. Tipsters are eligible for rewards of up to $3,000. These fugitives are wanted by law enforcement as of press time. Apprehensions may occur to change the status of fugitives.
