Man charged with exposing himself at GT Bray Park in Bradenton

A 30-year-old Bradenton man was arrested after he followed another person into the bathroom at GT Bray Park and began masturbating in front of the victim, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

Charles Hyman, who lists himself as homeless, was booked into the Manatee County jail on Tuesday and remains in custody on a $1,500 bond.

The victim’s gender was redacted from the report.

According to the arrest warrant, Hyman walked into the bathroom on March 3 and stood next to the victim while the victim was using the bathroom. Hyman began masturbating and tried to touch the victim with his sexual organs as the victim ran out of the bathroom, police say.

An arrest warrant was issued on March 6 and Hyman was taken into custody on that warrant on April 14.

Police say Hyman violated the law by, “exposing his sexual organs in a lewd, vulgar and indecent manner.”
