Teenager shot to death in Bradenton. Gunman still at large, sheriff says

A 16-year-old boy is dead and another teenager wounded after a shooting in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies are looking for the gunman.

Abouit 9:49 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 5900 block of 13th Street Court East, where they found two victims. The 16-year-old, whose name was not released, died at the scene, and the other victim, who is 15, was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office said the teens were shot while having an argument with a man described as being in his 20s. He is still at large, the sheriff’s office said Sunday morning.
