Parrish man crashed his car into woman and girl. That’s when he got naked, cops say

Typically you either call law enforcement or exchange insurance information after a car crash, but a 26-year-old Parrish man decided to strip naked instead, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

About 3:30 p.m. on March 13, Cody Hicks was seen driving erratically in the 5400 block of Lexington Drive, before he ran his vehicle into another vehicle occupied by two females, deputies said.

According to the arrest report, Hicks exited his vehicle and stripped naked from the waste down. Deputies say he then began to make obscene gestures at the females, one of whom was under the age of 18.

Those actions landed Hicks in the Manatee County jail where he is charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition. He remains in custody on a $2,500 bond pending a future court date and if convicted, faces being registered as a sex offender.
