Bradenton business lost more than $1,000 in armed robbery. Cops need help with suspect’s ID

Law enforcement is seeking the public’s help in identifying an armed robbery suspect after more than $1,000 was stolen from an internet cafe in the South Bradenton area.

The crime occurred on Dec. 1, according to Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. It was reported around 8 p.m.

The business, formerly called Players, is located inside of a strip mall at 4531 26th St. W.

A surveillance image of the suspect released by the sheriff’s office shows a a male in a dark jacket with a hood pulled partially over his face.

In total, the business lost $1,437, according to an incident report. The money was stored inside a red bag.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office at 941-747-3011 or dial Crime Stoppers at 866-634-8477 to leave an anonymous tip and become eligible for an award.
