Bradenton store workers looked at customer’s photos. What they did next is a crime, cops say

Police have charged two employees of a Bradenton phone store with sending photos from a customer’s phone without permission.

Sean Patrick O’Connor, 28, and Brandon Alcorn, 19, were servicing a phone at GoWireless, 6779 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, when the crime occurred, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

The customer later noticed that photos had been sent from her phone to a number that she did not recognize.

Police began investigating the incident last week. Alcorn and O’Conor were arrested Wednesday and charged with “offenses against users of computers, computer systems, computer networks and electronic devices.” The crime is a third-degree felony.

An investigation is still active and more information is pending, police say.
