Police have man in custody after finding car used by shooter in South Beach killing
Police have found the white 2017 Honda Accord they say was used by the gunman in Thursday night’s fatal South Beach shooting of Prada manager Kamil Patel.
The car was found in Miami at the Allapattah Metrorail station, 3501 NW 12th Ave.
Patel’s friend Katy Park wrote on a gofundme page that the driver of the car, who she described as “a small African-American male,” shot Patel, 29, as he and Park walked from Mac’s Club Deuce to a karaoke bar in South Beach. The car would be reported as stolen on Friday by the mother of Orestes Marrero when she reported Marrero as missing.
