Men broke into several vehicles, stole a car and used stolen credit card to buy a Playstation, deputies say
Two men are wanted in Hillsborough County for breaking into several vehicles, stealing one of them and then using a stolen credit card to buy a Playstation from Walmart, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Between the night of Jan. 26 and the morning of Jan. 27, the men burglarized several unlocked vehicles within the Waterset subdivision in Apollo Beach. The burglaries took place between about 10 p.m. and 9:45 a.m.
Surveillance video shows the two men committing the burglaries and a dark gray Nissan Altima following them through the neighborhood, deputies said.
At one point, the men obtained the keys to a black 2012 Hyundai Sonata and stole the vehicle. They then used a credit card taken from one of the cars to purchase a Playstation game console at a Walmart located at 4928 Highway 674 in Wimauma. The stolen vehicle has an Air Force FL tag: AJD5W.
One man is described as being around 5-foot-6, weighing about 200 pounds and was seen wearing a dark sweatshirt with ripped jean shorts. The other man, described to be between 18 and 20 years old and about the same height and weight, was seen wearing a dark sweatshirt and tan shorts.
