An owl and a dream catcher. Excerpts from a serenity prayer. A mushroom.

Those are descriptions of three tattoos deputies in Central Florida used to identify a woman who was found with a gunshot wound and lying unconscious on the side of the road Sunday morning. She was taken to a local hospital.

“She is fortunate someone saw her,” Jeff Williamson, a spokesperson with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, told ClickOrlando. “Probably miraculous, possibly is what saved her life at this point in time.”

Deputies posted photos of the woman’s body art Sunday afternoon, hoping the public would help authorities figure out who she is. The victim has since been ID’ed as Marie D. Guth, 29, according to the Orlando Sentinel. Yes, she is still alive.

Deputies say the woman was discovered by a passerby on 6224 Silver Star Road, near Orlando.

If anyone has any information about this crime, deputies are asking that they call the Orange County Sheriff's Office or crime hotline at 800-423-8477.
