Death investigation underway in Sarasota County

Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office detectives are currently conducting a death investigation in the 1400 block of Overbrook Road in Englewood.

The initial call for service was received at 3:58 p.m.

Patrol deputies responded and have since turned the investigation over to detectives.

According to the sheriff’s office, the incident is contained and detectives do not believe the public is any danger at this time.

Additional information will be released as it becomes available, the sheriff’s office said.
