Angry customer throws Mexican pizza at Taco Bell cashier, cops say

TacoBell.com

A Taco Bell cashier had a Mexican pizza thrown in his face when a customer claimed he “screwed up his order,” according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

At about 9:35 p.m. Nov. 29, the disgruntled customer pulled up through the drive-through at a Taco Bell, 6004 14th St. W., Bradenton, and began to argue with the cashier. The customer claimed the 19-year-old cashier “screwed up his order” before reaching forward and throwing a Mexican pizza in the cashier’s face.

The cashier was temporarily blinded by the sauce on the Mexican pizza, according to the report, as the customer drove off.

Paramedics treated the cashier at the Taco Bell, but a deputy still noted “a slight redness” in his eyes.

There wasn’t a manager at the restaurant when the incident occurred, so deputies were not immediately able to obtain video surveillance footage.
