Authorities search for man who robbed six convenience stores

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who robbed at least six convenience stores in little more than a week.

Deputies say the suspect, who is described as a white male in his late 20s, 6-foot to 6-foot-3 with a medium build, used a knife in almost all of the robberies but once produced a firearm.

Officials suspect that the man has accomplice, too. He has taken unknown amounts of cash and fled the scene in an awaiting dark-colored sedan.

The man was last seen Nov. 7 wearing a black hoodie, baggy jeans, a nylon half mask and gloves.

Those with information regarding the case are asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (727) 582-6200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS.
