Middle school student brought stun gun to school, cops say
A student brought a stun gun to W.D. Sugg Middle School Friday, officials confirm.
Police officers were called to the school shortly before noon.
Bradenton Police spokesman Lt. Brian Thiers said in a message to the Bradenton Herald that no one was injured and all parties involved were in the school’s office Friday just before noon.
There is no danger to the school and no lockdown was put in place, Thiers said.
The investigation is ongoing.
