Reward for information on Seminole Heights killer bumped up to $110,000

The reward for information into the four fatal shootings in Tampa’s Seminole Heights neighborhood is now up to $110,000.

The reward pot continues to grow as tensions rise surrounding the four killings that have plagued the community since early October.

On Monday, the David A. Straz Jr. Foundation announced it would commit $10,000, bumping up the total to $110,000.

The latest killing occurred in the early morning hours of Nov. 14, when 60-year-old Ronald Felton was shot dead near North Nebraska Avenue and East McBerry Street.

Since then, Tampa police have released a new surveillance video of a person they believe is responsible for at least two of the four slayings. A video of the same person was released just after the first shooting of 22-year-old Benjamin Mitchell on Oct. 9.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS.
