Was this man chasing two others with a gun? Deputies seeking more information
Deputies are seeking more information and three men involved in what they are calling a suspicious incident Saturday morning in Sarasota where a man was seen running with what may have been a gun.
At about 9:40 a.m. Saturday, Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the 2500 block of Parma Street in Sarasota after a resident reported hearing what sounded like a gun shot, according to a news release.
Surveillance video taken from the area showed a man who appeared to be holding a firearm chasing two other men, according to the sheriff’s office.
The suspect was described as a 20- to 30-year-old white or Hispanic male with dark hair, standing about 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a medium build. He was seen wearing a blue short-sleeve shirt and blue pants.
Two of the men were possibly driving an older model white, four-door SUV, according to deputies, who were not able to find any of the men in a search of the area.
