Arrest made in August shooting at Citgo store in Palmetto

Authorities have arrested Lazandious Marshall Randall Jr., 22, who was wanted for attempted murder in the August shooting of another man in the leg inside a Citgo convenience store in Palmetto.

Randall was booked into the Manatee County jail Sunday and faces one charge of attempted felony murder, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office website.

According to the Palmetto Police Department, Randall got into a fist fight with the victim at about 4 p.m. on Aug. 21 inside the store at 203 10th St. W., Palmetto.
