Man who stored 4,000 child pornography files pleads guilty

A Bradenton man pleaded guilty to child pornography charges Monday.

Paul Fabrizio Solis took explicit pictures of a young child under his care, according to court documents.

He reportedly stored the files on a thumb drive that he kept locked in a safe.

Detectives found more than 4,000 child pornography images and videos on Solis’ laptop computer.

Solis, 40, pleaded guilty to producing and possessing child pornography. He will face anywhere between 15 and 30 years for the production charge and up to 10 years for possession.

The case was investigated by the FBI, as well as the Bradenton Police Department, and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Kristen A. Fiore.
