Arrest warrant issued for child molestation suspect
A man charged with molesting a 13-year-old girl in June is wanted by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
An investigation into the case began in early October. The sheriff’s office obtained a warrant for the arrest of Thomas Basone on Nov. 3.
Basone, 47, faces charges of lewd and lascivious molestation and harassing a victim.
The victim is known to Basone, according to the sheriff’s office.
