A man was arrested after investigators found pounds of marijuana and several marijuana concentrate products in a Bradenton home Wednesday evening.

A search warrant was executed at a home in the 5500 block of River Sound Terrace in Bradenton around 7:30 p.m. by Manatee County Sheriff’s Office investigators.

Once inside, detectives found four pounds of marijuana, along with several more marijuana concentrate products made from Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the active chemical in marijuana.

The search revealed 823 vials of THC oil for use in electronic cigarettes, as well as 331 packets of THC wax — a more potent form of the drug — and a cooking tray covered with unbroken wax in the home’s refrigerator for a total 961.2 grams of the wax product, according to the sheriff’s office.

Detectives estimate the street value of the drugs seized to be approximately $199,100.

Thomas Dilandro, 34, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a church.

Google Maps identifies three churches - Ohr Yeshua Messianic Synagogue, Faith Bible Church and St. Mark Orthodox Church - just on the other side of 57th Street East from Dilandro’s neighborhood.

The investigation is ongoing.
