Man arrested after robberies at mobile home park
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a 23-year-old man Tuesday night after several armed robberies at a Bradenton mobile home park.
Around 8 p.m. Tuesday night, deputies responded to the area of the Floridana Mobile Home Park in reference to a 911 call. Two victims flagged down the officers and said Ryan Richardson pointed a gun at them and demanded money, but they were able to escape, according to a report.
More deputies surrounded the area as 911 operators received more calls about the armed robbery suspect, who was described as leaving the area on a bike. Richardson fired his gun during one of the robbery attempts, but no one was injured.
Officers tracked Richardson down and arrested him. He is charged with seven counts of armed robbery, three counts of aggravated assault and various other charges. Richardson is being held without bond.
The sheriff’s office said the robberies happened in the 5200 block of First Street West; 5100 block of Eighth Street West; the 700 block of 51st Avenue Terrace West; and near the intersection of 51st Avenue Plaza West and Eighth Street West.
