Bullet strikes camper parked at Manatee residence
Authorities are investigating a shooting into an unoccupied camper at a residence in the 4400 block of 60th Street West.
The shooting took place sometime between Saturday and Thursday, according to a news release from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
The owner of the camper, a 49-year-old man, discovered a bullet hole in the vehicle while it was parked at his residence.
A round struck the outer door, entered the camper and then struck an interior door, causing an estimated $500 in damage, the sheriff’s office said.
